PSP CheatUp is an application designed to simplify the task of updating the cheat codes through the use of the PSP's Wifi and a wireless internet connection. Currently the application can automatically detect and install cheats for CheatMaster Fusion, coderPR, CWCheat and NitePR. The cheat files are hosted by GBAtemp.

This is the primary format supported by the cheat database, this was chosen as the primary format as it supports numerous different code types, easy code jokering and because it uses a single cheat file for it's database. Other cheat homebrews which are capable of utilizing this database format are FreeCheat, DarkCheat and CheatMaster Fusion.

The cheat files utilized by this cheat engine are similar to the CWCheat cheat engine however instead of codes being contained within a single cheat file each game is split into a separate file. This cheat engine is the sexy, more quick witted sister of CWCheat which you really want to sleep with but just can't figure out the right buttons to press at first. In other words the interface is much better, there are some nice additional features and searches are blazingly fast however it is harder to navigate through the menus.

The text files in the NitePR folder of the cheat archive are supported by cheat engines based on the popular open source NitePR homebrew. These include (but are not limited to) BluePR, CoderPR, DayPR, fxPR, IcyPR, MKULTRA, NitePR and WhitePR. This cheat format is not recommended as many cheats have been ommited from this format due to compatibility issues.

To use any of these cheat you must have a PSP with a compatible Custom Firmware installed. Before posting about games not having cheats in the forums, please check the GameList.txt file to see if the game really does have cheats.
